Angela Sun
Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. Angela Sun was born on the 19th of October 1979 in Santa Clara County California. She is an award-winning journalist, sportscaster and actor. She has a degree in Sociology and Communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing and participated in several Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to sponsorship from large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. It was the fame she gained through participating in these events that led her into the realm of entertainment. In the following years, she was an actor, sportscaster, investigational journalist, and film-director. Sun has been a reporter on several news channels, primarily as anchor. In 2003 she worked as a correspondent with Fox Sports Net. In 2012, she was host of American Ninja Warrior with Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley. Sun was host of The Yahoo Sports Minute from the year 2014 until 2015. She was the sole Asian-American to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has starred in many films, and earned fame and praise for her acting talent. Sun has acted in movies such as Goliath 2016 (Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004 and Shackled. In 2014 Sun released Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the feature-length documentary about marine pollution caused by plastic and its impact on the ecosystem.
