Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother worked as her manager in her teens. Her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. Her acting career began at age four. She was raised in Canyon Country, California with three siblings. She appeared as an extra on TV shows including Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. at the start of her professional career. At the age of 13, she was cast in her first film Friday. In 1997, she gained attention for her character in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste who is a troubled teenager. Her first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nominee. Good had small roles in film and on television for a couple of years before shifting into roles that were more mature at the start of the decade. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter, she played Nina. From 1998 to 2001, she was a character on Nina on the Nickelodeon television series Cousin Squeeter. Additionally, she played tiny roles in the film House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000). She played Vanessa Scott in the comedy My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S an action-comedy film that was nominated as Best Actress on the Black Movie Awards 2005. In the following years, she was in films such as You Got Served the Cookout and Venom One Missed call Waist Deep, and The Love Guru. She kept her busy on T.V. Her film roles include Mya (in The Think Like a Man, starring a number of actors) as well as Ms. Stevens (in Dysfunctional Friends). Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer, who is from Texas originally, attended Baylor University Waco Texas. From there she graduated with an undergraduate degree. degree in performing arts in the year 2010. Her on-screen debut was in 2010 when she appeared in the web-series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer debuted on screen after appearing in numerous local productions in Simon Fuller's television series If I Can Dream pilot in the year 2010. The series on Hulu called If I Can dream revolves on the daily lives of group of performers who reside on the streets of Hollywood California.
