Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British music producer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There along with three fellow students, he created his own group of musicians, called White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. The musician always had an interest in music, but he wanted to become an attorney or a physical therapy. While working at the city's baker, Harry Styles was able to feed his family. For the year 2010 Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This is why his group was forced to break up. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the band to be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored five teenagers to join the group in the year 2010. The band performed songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders for the prize. But they finished in third place just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
