Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became America's Sweetheart after she was crowned American Idol in the inaugural series of the show. The victory not only propelled her to the top of the charts but also earned her a multi-album record deal together with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. In the years since, she's released various studio albums. Three that reached the top in the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just failed to make the cut. She's one of the top performers who made it through American Idol. She experimented as she gained recognition for her various themes and different musical styles. She was often the one to write her own songs. Her distinctiveness as well as her singing skills earned her praise, as well a few high-profile award. One of her most memorable achievements was that she received the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her music career, she also has appeared on television and in films. In addition, she is the author of the novel for children called River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved in many charitable organizations.
